Hey Sunshine Golf Tournament presented by the Que Provides

Theodore “Teddy” Grow touched the lives of many. Quick with a joke and a smile, he made everyone feel comfortable and welcome in his presence – greeting friends and strangers alike with his trademark salutation, “Hey, Sunshine!”

Teddy was an avid golfer, playing every Monday morning at his home course, Downing, and any other day of the week he could find a partner. Teddy was a giving and patient man who cared for his loving wife, Lilian, as she battled Multiple Sclerosis during the latter portion of her life. Affectionately called Lil, the disease left her wheelchair bound with the use of only one arm, resulting in Teddy caring for her every need.

The Grow family wishes to preserve his loving memory by holding a memorial golf tournament. The outing highlights his great love for the sport while raising money for local charities – a nod to his selflessness and giving nature.

The Tournament includes a 4 person 18 hole scramble and prizes for skill games including closet to the pin, long drive a putting challenge.
